Tom and Marijana
Tom and Marijana met on the beach volleyball court and instantly became friends for life. After discovering a common interest in photography, they have inspired each other to create beautiful, lasting photographs of other people and their families all over the world.
Marijana was born and raised in Europe and earned a Master's degree in Engineering. But throughout her life, photography was her true passion. She carried her camera everywhere, capturing those special candid moments. That unique experience gave her the ability to photograph every wedding with a magical photo-journalistic style that elicits smiles all around.
Tom's resume complements Marijana's strengths in many ways. Not only has Tom done 10+ years of wedding photography, he has also worked extensively with digital retouching and graphic design at companies such as Adobe (the makers of the popular Photoshop software). Tom also shoots dozens of events each year as the official event photographer for Fortune 100 companies, such as Intel and Cisco. Armed with a Master's degree, Tom's affiliations with Stanford University, UC Davis and UCLA have served him well in his entrepreneurial endeavors.
As documentary wedding photographers previously featured in magazines and honored by various accolades, Tom and Marijana aim to record the authentic story of your wedding day by capturing candid moments as they happen, without intervening or directing. But just as traditional photographers would, they'll also do a series of posed portraits where they will offer direction on poses that look the most flattering.
Tom and Marijana have been specializing in International Wedding photography, capturing weddings in destinations across the globe such as Ireland, Asia, and Croatia.
